Original Warner Brothers Title Lobby Card (11×14) for the Raoul Walsh music fantasy, THE HORN BLOWS AT MIDNIGHT (1945)—starring Jack Benny, Dolores Moran, and Alexis Smith. Besides some truly surreal fantasy scenes like the one of Benny in a giant coffee cup, the film has a happy and bouncy feel with a funny dialogue very much like radio comedy of the time. Because the film was initially not a big hit at the box office, Benny made mention of the film as a flop in his comedy routines, even blaming it for the end of his film career. In reality, Benny’s film appearances were few and far between because of his wildly popular radio and later TV series. This original title lobby card is in fine plus condition, with some minor water damage at the bottom, minor surface wear, and one small tear in the right border.

This is an original Warner Brothers Three Sheet Poster (41×81) for the Curtis Bernhardt film noir thriller, CONFLICT (1945) starring Humphrey Bogart, Alexis Smith, and Sydney Greenstreet. The interaction between Bogart and Greenstreet is the highlight of the film. With first rate direction from Curtis Bernhardt, the film maintains a high level of suspense throughout.
