Original Universal Pictures Three Sheet Poster (41×81) for the William Castle horror thriller, I SAW WHAT YOU DID (1965)—starring Joan Crawford, John Ireland, Leif Erickson, Sara Lane, and Andi Garrett. Teenagers Libby (Garrett) and Kit (Lane) get themselves in a lot of trouble when they taunt the unsuspecting with prank phone calls. “I know who you are and I saw what you did” is what they tell folks on the other end of the line. The joke backfires when the two girls get an actual murderer on the line. Not only do they get the murderer upset with them, but throw Mommie Dearest Joan Crawford into the mix and there is real party-line mayhem. This is strictly drive-in fare for the baby boomer youth quake era, but the poster, with its enormous face of Joan in major shriek-down, is truly frightening. This three sheet is in very good condition and the large format, with the huge Joan image, has not been seen much. A three sheet is a large poster; this three sheet was published in two sections, which have been joined together in Photoshop to make this image. This poster was actually used in a theater and has some minor defects including a tear, some small holes. Would make an excellent candidate for linen backing. Please ask us about poster restoration.
