Original Bryanston Distributing One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Edward Dmytryk thriller, THE HUMAN FACTOR (1975) starring George Kennedy, John Mills, Raf Vallone, and Barry Sullivan. The last film for veteran director Dmytryk, this British-Italian co-production is a “revenge” movie about an American secret agent and computer specialist (Kennedy) who loses his wife and children in a terrorist attack at his home. Kennedy gives one of his best performances as the hard-edged, desperate father who turns into a merciless killer. Ennio Morricone’s score is a perfect complement to this dark thriller. TEXAS LADY (1955) 2459

full.texaslady-sc-2459

Original RKO Scene Lobby Card (11×14) for the Tim Whelan western, TEXAS LADY (1955)—starring Claudette Colbert, Barry Sullivan, Ray Collins, and Gregory Walcott. Prudence Webb (Colbert) inherits a local newspaper in an isolated Texas town. The men who run the town do not exactly welcome a woman’s “interference” with “their” newspaper. Lucky for Prudence, a card shark (Sullivan) she beat in New Orleans comes to her rescue. Some critics have complained bitterly about the corny screenplay, but Colbert’s portrayal of a strong and independent woman is unusual for a western of the mid-1950s. This original lobby card is in fine plus condition, with pinholes and minor edge and surface wear.

PYRO… THE THING WITHOUT A FACE (1964) 4902

full.pyro-3sh

Original American International Pictures Three Sheet Poster (41×81) for the Julio Coll horror thriller, PYRO‚ THE THING WITHOUT A FACE (1964) starring Barry Sullivan, Martha Hyer, Sherry Moreland, and Soledad Miranda. A jilted lover named Laura (Hyer) goes into a jealous rage and sets fire to her lover’s (Sullivan) house hoping to kill his family. Sullivan, unsuccessfully trying to rescue them, is horribly burned and plots his revenge on Laura. Sullivan gives a memorable portrayal of a complex man who fist succumbs to lust and then is driven by guilt and anger. This original three sheet poster is folded and in fine plus condition. The majority of the paper is in very fine shape; there is, however, a small hole about 1/4 inch by 3/4 inch in upper part of the lower panel. Still, unusual to find this title as a three sheet. One sheets have been much more common.
