Original 20th Century Fox One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Mel Brooks comedy, SILENT MOVIE (1976) starring Brooks, Marty Feldman, Dom DeLuise, Sid Caesar, and Bernadette Peters. In this delightful homage to the silent comedies of Chaplin, Keaton, and Lloyd—aspiring filmmakers (Brooks, Feldman, and DeLuise) try to make a new and successful silent movie. In an effort to make the movie more successful, they attempt to recruit some big name stars, while the studio’s creditors attempt to thwart them. Since there is only one word of dialogue spoken in the film, the rousing score by John Morris is particularly important and beautifully complements the action in the film. This original one sheet poster is folded and in fine plus condition.

Original TriStar Pictures One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the James Ivory drama, SLAVES OF NEW YORK (1989)– starring Bernadette Peters, Chris Sarandon, Mary Beth Hurt, and Adam Coleman-Howard. Based on the stories of Tama Janowitz, this loveable but bittersweet expose of the New York art world in the late 1980s tells the story of quietly talented Eleanor (Peters) who lives with her unknown but immensely insecure boyfriend Stash (Coleman-Howard), who like most of his friends is waiting for his big break. The film is a fascinating examination of a young woman attempting to find herself while also dealing with a city full of shallow, uncaring, jealous, and stupid people. This original one sheet poster is in very good condition.
