In the new version, U.S. State Department agent (Travis) hopes to trap a murderous traitor (Davis) through singer/stripper Angela (Michaels). This original one sheet poster is folded and in very fine condition.

Original Columbia Pictures Six Sheet Poster (81×81) for the Hugo Haas film noir classic, PICKUP (1951)—starring Haas, Beverly Michaels, and Allan Nixon. This is the sad story of a middle-aged widower who meets and marries the conniving and venal dominatrix Michaels, who plots with her younger lover how to kill Haas and collect his “fortune” of $7,000 in savings. Haas adapted the screenplay from a novel by Josef Kopta to produce a tight storyline with some nice twists and turns. But Michaels’ throaty femme fatale is the truly remarkable feature of the film as she reveals with great gusto the true depths of treachery to which she will gleefully stoop to get her husband’s money. This original six sheet poster is in fine plus condition. Bad Girl doesn’t get better – or badder – than this. Printed on four panels. Unbacked.
