SPACE MASTER X-7 (1958) 11865

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Original 20th Century-Fox One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Edward Bernds science fiction horror film, SPACE MASTER X-7 (1958) starring Bill Williams, Lyn Thomas, and Robert Ellis. This film chronicles a space probe that returns to earth covered with a strange fungus, which accidentally gets tinged with human blood and is then transformed into an ever-growing space rust. Fox used this low-budget film as a co-feature for its horror blockbuster THE FLY (1958). The British poster is a stone litho. Relatively late for this printing method — and the art is different, more charming than the U.S. posters. The poster is folded and in fine plus to very fine condition. A bit of trouble at one of the folds, but well worth linen backing. Ask us about poster conservation.

full. Pawnee C6s F 16111

Original Republic Pictures Six Sheet Poster (81×81) for the George Waggner classic western, PAWNEE (1957)—starring George Montgomery, Bill Williams, and Lola Albright. This film is the story of Pale Arrow (Montgomery), who was a white man raised since a boy by the Pawnee Chief Wise Eagle. With wagon trains now encroaching on Pawnee land, the Chief sends Pale Arrow to live with the white people where he takes a job as scout. The Chief has always wanted peace, but when he dies his successor (Crazy Fox) attacks the wagon train. The film has a good cast, professional direction, and some excellent color photography of the scenic west. Please note that the photograph of this poster is a linen-backed version in very fine condition, but this six sheet poster is in fine condition and has not been linen-backed
