Original New Line Cinema One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the David Fincher crime thriller, SEVEN (1995)—starring Morgan Freeman, Brad Pitt, Kevin Spacey, and Gwyneth Paltrow. This exciting police drama is about two cops, one new (Pitt) and one about to retire (Freeman), who are investigating a serial killer who justifies his ritual murders as absolution for people’s ignorance of the Seven Deadly Sins as depicted in Dante. This modern film-noir takes place in a bleak and constantly raining city where urban decay and sleaze are everywhere. For the camera work, cinematographer Darius Khondji used a specially altered film stock to make the visuals look as dark and unsettling as possible, and this somber mood was perfectly complemented by the haunting musical score of Howard Shore. This original one sheet poster is in very good condition, with only a crease in the upper border area.
