Original RKO 1960 Re-Release One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Charles Lamont musical comedy, ABBOT AND COSTELLO MEET CAPTAIN KIDD (1952) starring Bud Abbott, Lou Costello, and Charles Laughton. As Universal Pictures would not spend the money to make the film in color, the comedy team made the film using Abbott’s company, Woodley Productions. Warner Brothers distributed the original film, and RKO distributed the 1960 re-release. The film reminds the audience of the duo’s early days at Universal grinding out comedy gems. Laughton just dove right into the slapstick and supposedly loved it. This original re-release one sheet poster is folded and in very good condition, with some bleed through from the National Screen Service stamp on the reverse side.

Original Universal Pictures One Sheet Poster for Spanish-Speaking Audiences (27×41) for the William A. Seiter comedy, LITTLE GIANT (1946) starring Bud Abbott, Lou Costello, and Brenda Joyce. Costello plays a country bumpkin vacuum-cleaner salesman, working for a company run by the crooked Abbott. This is a charming film full of pathos and not the usual Abbott and Costello formula. This was their first comedy to be driven by the characters and the situations, rather than gag-driven as in earlier films. The two former friends and colleagues were in the midst of a terrific feud and refused to speak to each other except during the actual shooting of the movie. This original one sheet poster is in very fine condition.
