This international six sheet is slightly shorter than the usual American six sheets – by five inches. The dimensions are 76 x 76 inches. This poster is printed on two individual panels 38 x 76 inches and we have shown each panel on two separate photos. The two panels are intended to be joined to display the poster. This is a theater-used copy which has not been joined together with glue. So it’s on two separate sheets. Ideal for linen backing. The poster has been folded and is in fine plus condition. OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Original Polish Poster (26×38) for the Don Siegel prison drama, ESCAPE FROM ALCATRAZ(1979) starring Clint Eastwood, Patrick McGoohan, Fred Ward and Paul Benjamin. As the inmates were able to see the city from the prison cell, and consequently the possibility of freedom, the island has long served as a powerful image for both film and literature. This movie, based on an actual escape attempt, was filmed on location. Art on the poster is that of a shackled inmate behind what appears to be an invisible fence — a fitting allegory. With artwork by Marek Ploza Dolinski, this original Polish poster is in very fine condition.
