Manckiewicz thriller, 5 FINGERS (1952) starring James Mason, Danielle Darrieux and Michael Rennie. 5 FINGERS is a tremendous suspense film in which James Mason plays a wildly underestimated valet, in WWII-era Istanbul, quietly selling secrets to the Nazis including plans for the D-Day invasion. His dream is to retire to South America with the countess with whom he collaborates. The poster features a black and white image of Mason with a camera, going about his dastardly business, with the subtitle “KRYPTONIM CICERO” (the original novel was called OPERATION CICERO).
