MacLaine and Winger give career best performances as mother and daughter, polar opposites to each other. Having written many successful TV series, this was James L. Brooks feature film directorial debut. He won the Oscar for Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Picture. MacLaine picked up the Oscar for Best Actress, and Nicholson won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. In truth, the film is little more than another warped and irresponsible movie about slutty 70’s teenage girls playing slutty 50’s teenage girls. The best thing about the film is the soundtrack, which features many great 50’s hits. This original one sheet poster is folded and in very fine condition.
