Original French Poster (24×31) for the Luis Bunuel drama, TRIATANA (1970) starring Catherine Deneuve, Fernando Rey, and Franco Nero. Dark and surreal, this film is a simple and sad tale about its characters as they deal with life, love, loss, and regret. Deneuve gives one of her many brilliant performances as a woman who evolves from an innocent young girl with ideals about love and relationships into a bitter and cynical older woman who has lost all those ideals. The film was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film. This original French poster is folded and in very fine condition.

Original 20th Century Fox One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the William Friedkin action thriller, THE FRENCH CONNECTION (1971) starring Gene Hackman, Fernando Rey, and Roy Scheider. Considered shockingly violent in the early 70s but pretty tame by today’s standards, Friedkin employs a documentary style that produces a very intense, fast-paced, and hard-edged crime drama about two New York City detectives (Hackman and Scheider) looking to end the war on drugs by taking down an international conspiracy. The film was a critical and box office success; indeed, it received eight Academy Award nominations and won five Oscars—including Best Actor for Hackman, Best Director for Friedkin, Best Screenplay for Ernest Tidyman, and Best Picture. This one sheet poster was originally folded and is in fine condition.
