Original French Poster (24×31) for the Luis Bunuel drama, TRIATANA (1970) starring Catherine Deneuve, Fernando Rey, and Franco Nero. Dark and surreal, this film is a simple and sad tale about its characters as they deal with life, love, loss, and regret. Deneuve gives one of her many brilliant performances as a woman who evolves from an innocent young girl with ideals about love and relationships into a bitter and cynical older woman who has lost all those ideals. The film was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film. This original French poster is folded and in very fine condition.

QUERELLE (1982) is a complicated story. It’s summarized well here:

This is an unusual edition of the German one sheet which was prepared in three different editions. This is the “blue” edition. While this poster is not the original German poster, it does sell well for about a third of what the German one sheet sells for. This copy is unfolded and in very fine condition. Art by Andy Warhol.

Original Polish Poster (23×32) for the Luis Bunuel surreal drama, TRISTANA (1970) starring Catherine Deneuve, Fernando Ray, and Franco Nero. This film is a well-crafted but sad tale about its characters as they grapple with life, love, loss, and regret. Denueve gives a totally convincing performance as she evolves from an innocent young girl to a bitter and cynical woman by the end of the film. With artwork by Maciej Zbikowski, this original Polish poster is in very fine condition.

This is a scarce 40×60 – large poster – for the 1973 re-release of CAMELOT, starring Vanessa Redgrave, Richard Harris, David Hemmings and Franco Nero. The film featured the incredible music and lyrics of Frederick Loewe and Alan J. Lerner. The film was directed by Joshua Logan. This 40×60 offers the Bob Peak art that was used only for roadshow posters in the original campaign of 1967. This was the art that was also used for the soundtrack record cover. Original release posters for CAMELOT with this art are very scarce, and this re-release poster is almost identical to the original except for the tag line at the top of the poster. This poster is rolled – never folded – and has some modest signs of wear as it was a theater-used poster. MovieArt will sell NO reproductions. Lovely ethereal image of Redgrave.
