This is the charming story of two Americans, Jeff (Johnson) and Tommy (Kelly), who while on a hunting vacation in Scotland discover a quaint and enchanted village called Brigadoon, which only appears for one day every hundred years. The original Broadway production opened at the Ziegfeld Theater on March 13, 1947 and ran for 581 performances. Kelly wanted to shoot the film on location in Scotland, but the studio said that would be too expensive; so, Minnelli had to create an 18th century Scottish village on a studio set. With original artwork by Roger Soubie, this original French poster is folded and in fine, if somewhat fragile, condition. Linen-backing is suggested.

Kelly also hits the mark with his very athletic portrayal of the hotheaded but good-hearted D’Artagan. Loaded with exciting sword fights and other action scenes, this colorful swashbuckling adventure romance is visually great entertainment.
