Original United Artists One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Melvin Frank comedy, BUONA SERA, MRS. CAMPBELL (1968) starring Gina Lollobrigida, Shelley Winters, Phil Silvers, Peter Lawford, and Telly Savalas. One of the best screwball comedies of the period, Carla Campbell (Lollobrigida) plays the mother of a lovely daughter, whose American soldier father was supposedly killed in World War II. But Carla isn’t really sure who the real father is, since she was intimate with three different soldiers at the time who are all still very much alive. When all three come back to Italy for a reunion with their wives, the craziness begins. This original one sheet poster is in very good condition– with only some slightly irregular folds and some small holes in the fold line.

Original Set of 8 British Front of House Cards (8×10) for the Carol Reed circus drama, TRAPEZE (1956) starring Burt Lancaster, Tony Curtis, and Gina Lollobrigida. One of the best circus films ever made, the story revolves around three trapeze performers. Mike (Lancaster) was a great trapeze artist before his accident. Tino (Curtis) joins the circus and convinces Mike to teach him the triple somersault. Lollobrigida adds sex appeal to the trapeze act and is also emotionally involved with both artists. Lancaster performed all of his trapeze stunts himself, as he had been a circus performer before he entered pictures. He even convinced Carol Reed to let him do the climatic triple flip. These original British front of house cards are slightly worn but overall in fine condition. One card has some paper loss at the bottom edge.

Four sexy Euro melodramas of the early fifties are repackaged as a sexploitation quadro-feature in the USA: OUTLAW GIRL (Il Brigante Musolino) starring the iridescent Silvana Mangano;THE WAYWARD WIFE (La Provinciale) starring Gina Lollobrigida; GIRLS MARKED DANGER (La Tratta delle Bianche) starring (among many others) Sophia Loren; and THE BAREFOOT SAVAGE (Sensualita) starring Eleonora Rossi Drago. The poster is a classic dollop of mid century peepshow kitsch. Garish printing and slapdash design make this poster delightful. Very fine condition.
