Original Republic Pictures One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Frantisek Cap crime thriller, INTERNATIONAL COUNTERFEITERS (1958)—starring Gordon Howard, Irina Garden, and Kurt Meisel. Originally released in Germany with the title of DIE SPUR FUHRT NACH BERLIN, it was also released in America with the alternate title ADVENTURE IN BERLIN. The plot revolves around a gang of criminals, mostly former guards of Auschwitz, who print and distribute counterfeit U.S. currency in Berlin after World War II. This original one sheet poster is folded and in very fine condition. Few will know this film, but the poster is fetching! Very movie-postery in a good, generic kind of way.
