Two Original American International Pictures Scene Lobby Cards (11×14) for the Roger Corman horror classic, THE MASQUE OF THE RED DEATH (1964)‚ starring Vincent Price, Hazel Court, Jane Asher, and David Weston. Certainly one of the best of the Roger Corman/ Edgar Allen Poe series of films, this short story is one of Poe‚ most thrilling tales and is beautifully adapted to the screen by Charles Beaumont. The costumes are colorful, the set designs are lavish, the cinematography of Nicolas Roeg is rich with color, and Corman expertly builds a strong sense of doom and despair. Price gives one of the most stunning performances of his illustrious horror career. Both of these original scene lobby cards are in very fine condition.

Original United Artists Group of Three Scene Lobby Cards (11×14) for the Sidney J. Furie horror thriller, DOCTOR BLOOD’S COFFIN (1961)‚ starring Kieron Moore, Hazel Court, and Ian Hunter. This mad scientist thriller tells the story of Dr. Peter Blood (Moore) who shows up in a small Cornish village after the death of his father (Hunter) to carry on with his gruesome experiments involving involuntary organ donations. The location shooting in a small Welch village adds a wonderful sense of atmosphere and color to the production. Future director Nicolas Roeg is one of the camera operators for the film. This group of three original scene lobby cards is in very fine plus condition.
