Original Sheet Music (9×12) for the song “I Love To Whistle” performed in the Norman Taurog musical comedy, MAD ABOUT MUSIC (1938) starring Deanna Durbin, Herbert Marshall, Gail Patrick, and Arthur Treacher. With music by Jimmy McHugh and lyrics by Harold Adamson, the song was performed by Deanna Durbin. Although the photo shows the image slightly eclipsed, the real sheet music has not been trimmed in any way and is in very fine condition.

Original MGM Scene Lobby Card (11×14) for the Robert Z. Leonard romantic comedy, WHEN LADIES MEET (1941) starring Joan Crawford, Robert Taylor, Greer Garson, and Herbert Marshall. Garson portrays the wronged wife, Crawford plays the girl who wronged her, Marshall is Garson’s husband, and Robert Taylor plays a young man madly in love with Crawford. The film utilizes a clever plot device in that the two women in Marshall’s life have never met each other. This intelligent look at modern marriage has good performances, unique lighting, stunning set decoration, and beautiful costumes. This original scene card featuring Marshall and Crawford is in very fine plus condition.

Sidney Lumet’s 1958 Buena Vista remake of MORNING GLORY (1933) is yet another fable about the cold nature of showbiz. The beautiful and talented Eva Lovelace (Strasberg) is a small town actress who comes to New York to make it big on the stage, charming producers, playwrights, and actors in the process. Eva and Broadway bigwig Lewis Easton (Fonda) fall in love, but temporarily quell the romance for the sake of maintaining a professional relationship. Meanwhile, Eva manages to usurp the aging Rita Vernon’s (Joan Greenwood) starring role in Lewis’ latest production. Think 42ND STREET meets ALL ABOUT EVE. STAGE STRUCK features Jack Weston in a bit part and Christopher Plummer in his big-screen debut. Condition is very fine, never used, folded.

Original United Artists One Sheet Poster (27×41) for Alfred Hitchcock spy thriller, FOREIGN CORRESPONDENT starring Joel McCrea, Laraine Day, Herbert Marshall, and George Sanders. This exciting mystery has New York reporter John Jones (McCrea) being sent to London as a substitute foreign correspondent. In his second American film, Hitchcock combines suspense, action, and comedy into a very artful film that garnered six Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture. The poster had cross-fold separations, minor paper loss, and minor chipping. All of these minor flaws were artfully addressed in the restoration, and now the poster displays beautifully. This wonderful poster is rarely offered for sale– so act accordingly! This original one sheet poster is linen-backed and in fine plus condition.
