premiere psychedelic ballroom, The Fillmore Auditorium. The Grateful Dead, Quicksilver (Messenger Service), Boz Scaggs, The Elvin Bishop Group, Carlos Santana, Hot Tuna, Cold Blood and It’s a Beautiful Day are featured in this film which was produced by Claude Jarman. Jarman, you may remember, played in the MGM film THE YEARLING as a young boy. Very fine condition.

Original 20th Century-Fox One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Richard T. Heffron music documentary, FILLMORE (1972) starring promoter Bill Graham and some of the most popular rock groups of the day—including The Jefferson Airplane, Santana, Hot Tuna, Quicksilver Messenger Service, The Grateful Dead, It’s A Beautiful Day, and New Riders of the Purple Sage. Bill Graham was a very successful impresario and rock concert promoter. He operated the Fillmore West and Winterland (both in San Francisco) and Fillmore East in New York City. This film chronicles the last days of the Fillmore West which closed in 1971. Originally folded, this one sheet poster is in very good condition.
