Director Brooks plays Dr. Richard Thorndyke, psychologist and chief of staff of the “Psychoneurotic Institute for the Very, VERY Nervous.” A bizarre, suspenseful and wildly comic plot ensues parodying the great Alfred Hitchcock, San Francisco-centric films from THE BIRDS to VERTIGO.
