The most memorable scenes of this film are two of Fred Astaire’s most famous dance numbers—first dancing with a hat rack and later dancing on the walls and ceiling. The film also received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song—“Too Late Now.” This original insert poster is in very fine condition.

Original MGM Three Sheet Poster (41×81) for the Richard Thorpe musical comedy, A DATE WITH JUDY (1948) starring Wallace Berry, Jane Powell, Elizabeth Taylor, and Carmen Miranda. Adapted from a popular radio drama began in 1941, hyperactive Judy (Powell) challenges and is challenged by nearly everybody around her. A 15-year-old Taylor plays Judy’s “progressive” friend in the first of her snobby, rich-girl roles. The film has been described as a “riot” of charm, song, wit, and dazzling color. This original three sheet poster is folded and in good condition—with some wrinkling, stresses, separations, and tears (one major) at the fold lines. This poster would be a great candidate for restoration.
