Original Universal Pictures 1940s Re-Release One Sheet Poster (trimmed to 24 x 38) for the Frederick Stephani 13-episode sci-fi classic, FLASH GORDON (1936), generally regarded as the greatest serial in movie history, starring Buster Crabbe, Jean Rogers, and Charles Middleton. A later reissue than this poster (of 1950) for FLASH GORDON features the same art as is found here, but with the title ROCKET SHIP. This is an earlier re-release of the film, probably around 1946. This edition of the poster has not been often seen and is preferable to the ROCKET SHIP because of the title. This poster came from a theater in Latin America, and was trimmed. Most probably this was a standard one sheet (27×41). Still, the image is all there. This re-issue one sheet poster is folded and in good condition only. Could certainly be restored.
