Original American International Pictures One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Robert Thom crime drama, ANGEL, ANGEL, DOWN WE GO (1969) starring Jennifer Jones, Jordan Christopher, Holly Near, and Lou Rawls. Shot in the wake of the success of WILD IN THE STREETS (1968), which Robert Thom wrote, AIP allowed him to write and direct this film. After watching the final cut of the film, AIP was not impressed and shelved it. They rushed it out a year later on a cheap double bill and changed the title to CULT OF THE DAMNED—implying in advertising campaigns that the film had something to do with the Manson murders. It didn’t. This original one sheet poster is folded and in very fine condition.

Original 20th Century Fox Pressbook (14×18) for the Nunnally Johnson war drama, THE MAN IN THE GREY FLANNEL SUIT (1956)‚ starring Gregory Peck, Jennifer Jones, and Fredric March. This film is a wonderful commentary on the emerging suburban corporate culture in America following World War II. The film regularly jolts the viewer, nearly lulled into complacency by the apparent ordinariness of suburban life, with sudden flashbacks of the horrors of war. This deluxe pressbook is 24 pages and includes the usual synopsis of the film, informative articles about the cast and crew, various sizes of ad slicks, and radio scripts and announcements. In addition, there is an eight page special merchandising section to tie the film in with men’s clothing brands, war veterans’ associations, fashion shows, and libraries and bookstores. This original pressbook is totally intact with no cuts whatsoever and is in very fine condition, with only a small doodle in pen on the front cover.
