Original Universal Pictures One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Alfred Hitchcock Cold War thriller, TORN CURTAIN (1966) starring Paul Newman and Julie Andrews. Newman plays an American nuclear scientist who pretends to defect to East Germany in order to trick a communist scientist into revealing a missile formula. Andrews plays Newman’s bewildered and abandoned fiance. This film is superbly acted, beautifully filmed with great music, dialogue, and plot. The taut escape adventure from East Germany is quite memorable. This original one sheet poster is in very fine condition.
