Original Republic Pictures One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Jack Townley western crime drama, HOME ON THE PRAIRIE (1939) starring Gene Autry, Smiley Burnette, and June Storey. Unlike most Autry films, this western has more action than singing. Autry is a border inspector charged with making sure no infected animals enter the United States. A couple of corrupt cattlemen try to ship in a hoof-and-mouth infected herd. When Autry quarantines these cattle, the two crooks try to implicate another rancher by changing the brands. But Autry gets to the bottom of the caper and saves the day. This original one sheet poster is linen-backed and in good condition.
