
Original New Yorker Films One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Wayne Wang crime drama, CHAN IS MISSING (1982) starring Wood Moy, Marc Hayashi, and Laureen Chew. This film is the story of two San Francisco cabbies, who go in search of the mysterious Chan Hong who has disappeared with their $4,000. This excellent independent film was shot in black and white and featured humble everyday settings in Chinatown. Their quest leads the two cabbies on a humorous journey, which also illuminates the many problems experienced by Chinese-Americans trying to assimilate into contemporary American society. Originally folded, this one sheet poster is in very fine condition.
