Rusty James lives in the shadow of his older brother, the Motorcycle Boy (Rourke), who disappeared but has now mysteriously returned. The acting performances of Dillon and Rourke are truly remarkable and memorable; indeed, all of the performances are of break out quality for Lane, Cage, and Fishburne. The black and white cinematography is hypnotic and complimented perfectly by Stewart Copland’s Golden Globe nominated score.
