OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Original Warner Brothers Insert Poster (14×36) for the Delmer Daves family drama, SUSAN SLADE (1961) starring Troy Donahue, Connie Stevens, Dorothy McGuire, and Lloyd Nolan. Stevens plays a young and naive girl falling in love for the first time. Unfortunately, her boyfriend is tragically killed before they can get married– leaving her unwed and pregnant. What could have been another corny 60s soap opera is elevated by good direction, beautiful photography, and a lush musical score by Max Steiner. This original insert poster is folded and in very fine plus condition.

Original 20th Century-Fox One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Joseph L. Mankiewicz film noir classic, SOMEWHERE IN THE NIGHT (1946) starring John Hodiak, Lloyd Nolan, Josephine Hutchinson, Richard Conte, and a 19-year-old Nancy Guild. Hodiak is an extremely convincing amnesiac veteran, who after returning from the war must make a whole new life in his homeland that has turned into alien territory. A pleasure to watch in terms of plot and atmosphere with excellent dialogue. The many nightscapes generate a menacing look at post-war Los Angeles. This original one sheet poster is linen-backed and in fine plus condition.
