This dazzling and wonderfully surreal film about a married woman’s mid-life crisis and how visions, memories, and mysticism all help her to find the strength to leave her cheating husband and become emotionally emancipated from him and her unsympathetic family. This was Fellini’s first full-color film, and it was nominated for an Oscar for Best Art Direction and Best Costumes. The film also has dreamy cinematography by Gianni Di Venanzo and a wonderful score by Nino Rota. This original Italian Locandina is in very fine condition.
