Original Republic Pictures One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Mack V. Wright musical western, ROOTIN’ TOOTIN’ RHYTHM (1937) starring Gene Autry, Smiley Burnette, Armida, and Monte Blue. Gene and sidekick Frog (Burnette) are mistaken for cattle rustlers but prove themselves heroes by the end of the film. One of Autry’s early starring westerns for Republic filled with plenty of action and some very enjoyable songs, including the crowd favorite “Mexicali Rose.” Burnette also shows off his varied musical talent; indeed, the actor could play over a hundred different instruments. This original one sheet poster is linen-backed. There was fold damage and some chips out of the internal fold areas. Color is vivid, but there are some repairs. Presents as fine.
