Originally released in Hong Kong in 1972 under the title, MENG LONG GUO JIANG, this film marked Bruce Lee’s directorial debut. The title was translated RETURN OF THE DRAGON to cash in on the success of the earlier ENTER THE DRAGON (1973). Many martial arts enthusiasts consider this film to be the best Bruce Lee movie because it gives the martial arts master ample opportunity to demonstrate his unique abilities, easily out classing the other martial artists in the film—even Chuck Norris.
