This wonderful thriller tells the story of John McKittick (Garfield), a former Spanish Civil War prisoner, who arrives in New York to find out the truth behind the death of his friend. When he discovers that Nazi agents are chasing him, he realizes that he can’t trust anyone. Hollywood “fought” World War II on many fronts, including thrillers like this dedicated to smoking out the Fifth Column at home. Based on a popular novel by Dorothy B. Hughes, the title comes from the line “. . . in a world at war many sparrows must fall.” This original scene lobby card is in fine plus condition with only some minor pinholes and edge wear.
