Guthrie and starred Don Murray, Lee Remick, and Patricia Owens. This poster is comprised of two sheets which are glued together. This poster has already been assembled and has been stored folded. Original Warner Brothers Insert Poster (14×36) for Joshua Logan’s romantic drama SAYONARA (1957) starring Marlon Brando, Patricia Owens, Red Buttons, Miyoshi Umeki, Ricardo Montalban, Miiko Taka, Martha Scott and James Garner. This adaptation of James Michener’s novel of service men in post-WWII Japan was a tremendous hit both critically and commercially winning Academy Awards for Supporting Actors Red Buttons and Miyoshi Umeki. In many ways, this bittersweet tale of love between American military men and Japanese women served as a cathartic sort of healing process after the horrors of the war in the Pacific. Original 20th Century-Fox Insert Poster (14×36) for the Kurt Neumann horror mystery, THE FLY (1958)—starring David Hedison, Patricia Owens, and Vincent Price. This wonderful horror nightmare is about a scientist experimenting with matter transference who accidentally exchanges an arm and a head with a fly that was in the transfer chamber. The scientific basis for the film is total bunk, as there is no way that insect and human parts could biologically interact with each other. The film became the biggest box office hit for director Neumann, but he would never know it. He died only a week before the film went into general release. This original insert poster is linen-backed and in fine condition.

Original 20th Century Fox Window Card (14×22) for James Clavell war drama, FIVE GATES TO HELL (1959)– starring Dolores Michaels, Patricia Owens, and Neville Brand. This Vietnam War film has nurses morphing into guerrilla fighters. Every kind of atrocity is committed in this unredeemable mess. Besides lots of shootings, there is also rape, human boiling, crucifixion, and garroting (death by strangulation of an iron collar). The film was written, produced and directed by Clavell. This original window card is in near mint condition, with only a theater snipe for the Jefferson Theater in Lafayette, Louisiana.

This remake of the Ernest Hemingway short story “To Have and Have Not” for the third time resets the plot to the early days of the Cuban revolution. A charter boat skipper (Murphy), who needs money to pay off debts, gets entangled in a gun running scheme. Boasting some great action sequences, the film is beautifully photographed by Hal Mohr in actual Key West locations. This complete set of 8 original lobby cards range from very good to very fine condition.
