Heffron science fiction thriller, FUTUREWORLD (1976) starring Peter Fonda, Blythe Danner, Arthur Hill, and Yul Brynner. This sequel to WESTWORLD (1973) is set a number of years in the future. The story concerns tow reporters, Chuck Browning (Fonda) and Tracy Ballard (Danner) who are covering the re-opening of Delos, the “virtual reality” amusement park that went haywire in the original film. This was the first live-action film to use computer-generated 3D imagery. This original advance one sheet poster is folded and in very good condition—with only some plastic tape on the reverse side that has stained the front side.

This film tells the story of two “hippie” bikers (Fonda and Hopper) who travel from Los Angeles to New Orleans in search of the real America. Along the way, they encounter bigotry and hatred from small-town communities who despise and fear their non-conformism. When they are arrested and thrown into jail, they meet George (Nicholson), a liberal alcoholic lawyer who gets them out and decides to join them on their trip. Fonda, Hopper, and Terry Southern were nominated for Best Screenplay and Nicholson was nominated for Best Supporting Actor. This original style C one sheet poster is very fine plus condition.
