Impresario Billy Rose allowed Fox to use the name of his famous Las Vegas nightclub, The Diamond Horseshoe, which spotlighted stars from the early 20th century recreating the songs and skits that made them great. Grable looks and sounds great as the jaded and sassy Bonnie Collins in this Technicolor extravaganza. This original stone lithography three sheet poster is linen-backed and in fine condition.

CAMPBELL (1968) starring Gina Lollobrigida, Shelley Winters, Phil Silvers, Peter Lawford, and Telly Savalas. One of the best screwball comedies of the period, Carla Campbell (Lollobrigida) plays the mother of a lovely daughter, whose American soldier father was supposedly killed in World War II. But Carla isn’t really sure who the real father is, since she was intimate with three different soldiers at the time who are all still very much alive. When all three come back to Italy for a reunion with their wives, the craziness begins. This original one sheet poster is in very good condition– with only some slightly irregular folds and some small holes in the fold line.

Original United Artists Six Sheet Poster (81×81) for the Richard Lester musical comedy, A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM (1966)—starring Zero Mostel, Phil Silvers, Buster Keaton, and Michael Crawford. Based on a play by the Roman poet Plautus, the original Broadway production opened at the Alvin Theater on May 1, 1962 and ran for 964 performances. The Broadway production won the 1963 Tony Awards for Best Musical and Best Book. But since musicals were on the wane in the 1960s, most of the original songs were cut from the film version. Ken Thorne was nominated for and won the Oscar for Best Musical Score. This original six sheet poster is folded and in very fine plus condition.

Original Warner Brothers One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Jack Donohue musical comedy, LUCKY ME (1954)—starring Doris Day, Robert Cummings, and Phil Silvers. Day plays Candy Williams, a singer/actress who was appearing in a traveling show, “Parisian Pretties,” which bombed in Miami. Stranded, she meets a New York songwriter, Cummings, who is casting a new Broadway show. He pretends to be someone else to court Candy, but he winds up falling in love with her. Day did not want to make the film at first, but when the studio demanded she fulfill her contract, she gave it her all. This was the first musical filmed in Cinemascope. This original one sheet poster is folded and in very fine plus condition—with vivid colors and no fold separations.
