Original Warner Brothers Scene Lobby Card (11×14) for the John Huston adventure drama, MOBY DICK (1956) starring Gregory Peck, Richard Basehart, and Leo Genn. Based on the Herman Melville epic novel of obsession and vengeance, it is the story that the sole survivor of a lost whaling ship who relates the tale of his captain’s self-destructive obsession to find and kill the white whale. Though it is impossible to make a film that comes up to the standard of the novel, this movie does a good job of capturing some of the most important themes and telling a selection of the key parts of the story in an interesting way. Orson Welles is seen in one great moment in the film as a preacher, which is shown in this card. This original scene card is in very fine condition.

Original United Artists Insert Poster (14×36) for the Mel Stuart documentary, FOUR DAYS IN NOVEMBER (1964) narrated by Richard Basehart. Mainstream documentary production company David L. Wolper Productions released this fascinating account of the weekend of the assassination of President Kennedy back in November of 1963. Released barely a year after the horrific event, the producers worked in cooperation with United Press International to produce both the film and a companion book. The film was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. A fabulous photo of President Kennedy in his rocking chair is the simple, affectionate graphic that makes this poster a great design. This original insert poster is unfolded and in near mint condition.
