Original Warner Brothers One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Allan Arkush sport comedy, CADDYSHACK II (1988) starring Jackie Mason, Robert Stack, Dyan Cannon, and Chevy Chase. Although this film is entertaining and fun to watch, most critics feel this sequel doesn’t even compare to the hilarious original film. Part of the problem is that Chevy Chase was the only original cast member to return for this sequel, and he later said he regretted his decision. Rodney Dangerfield was going to reprise his original character, but he quit the project when the writers refused to let him “tweak” the script. This original one sheet poster is in fine plus condition with one additional fold.

Original United Artists Six Sheet Poster (81×81) for the Lesley Selander western, WAR PAINT (1953) starring Robert Stack, Joan Taylor, Charles McGraw, and Keith Larsen. Stack plays the hardened commander who is entrusted with delivering a new treaty to the tribal chief. If the chief does not receive the treaty in week, he will declare war. The chief’s son (Larsen) agrees to lead the patrol to his father’s village but secretly want war with the hated white men. The poster is in very good condition, with only some chips in the border areas and some fold separation in the upper right vertical fold. Otherwise the paper is in good shape.

Original Warner Brothers One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the William A. Wellman action adventure, THE HIGH AND THE MIGHTY (1954) starring John Wayne, Claire Trevor, Laraine Day, and Robert Stack. This is the granddaddy of all the disaster movies that became so popular in the 1970s and is based on the best-selling novel by Ernest K. Gann. The story is about a commercial airliner that develops engine trouble on a trans-Pacific flight. When the pilot (Stack) looses his nerve, it is up to the washed-up co-pilot (Wayne) to bring the plane in safely. But each character on this flight is so wonderfully developed that you can remember clearly even the minor characters with the smallest parts. The film was nominated for six Academy Awards including Best Director for Wellman, and Dimitri Tiomkin won the Oscar for Best Musical Score. This original one sheet poster is linen-backed and in very fine plus condition with vivid colors, no missing paper, and only minimal touch-up to the fold lines.
