Hope plays Michael Joseph Valentine, a New Yorker who just happens to the son of a Eastern European monarch, who is drawn into a comic power vacuum and an attempt to place him on the throne. But not before lots of shenanigans occur. Typical Bob Hope fare gets the big Paramount treatment. A very nice portrait card of Hope, William Bendix and Signe Hasso. Fine plus condition. Some edge wear on the top edge. Colors vivid.

But Dr. Wassell stays behind and gets his wounded men evacuated. While many Hollywood movies depicting World War II are overly sentimental and patriotic, this film (made only two years after the actual events) is about an Allied defeat and how one man risked his life to save the wounded. This original style A one sheet poster is in fine plus condition. Some pinholes, minimal fold separations at intersections, but good color.
