Original “recalled” 20th Century-Fox One Sheet Poster for the James Cameron sci-fi thriller, ALIENS (1986)—starring Sigourney Weaver, Carrie Henn, and Michael Biehn. Weaver reprises her role as Ripley from the original ALIEN (1979) for one of the most exciting and critically acclaimed sequels of all time. This popular film solidified Cameron’s reputation as a first-rate director of high-tech, fast-paced action thrillers. The film was nominated for seven Academy Awards—including a Best Actress nomination for Weaver. The film won the Oscar for Best Sound Effects and Best Visual Effects. The is the original one sheet poster for this film which has a portrait of Weaver holding Henn in her arms, but the actress objected to the way she looked. Fox, therefore, recalled this poster and released an entirely different one sheet This original one sheet poster is rolled and in near mint condition. This poster measures 26 1/2 inches by 41 inches. We believe these to be the correct dimensions for rolled copies of this poster. The image dimensions are 25 x 39. We acquired our copies, a full box of 50, from Poster Emporium in 1986 when the film came out — in a box that had been sent from Fox Pictures.
