Original Columbia Pictures One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Jonathan Kaplan trucker drama, WHITE LINE FEVER (1975) starring Jan-Michael Vincent, Kay Lenz, and Slim Pickens. In this gritty 70s action B-movie, Carroll Jo Hummer (Vincent) is an independent long haul trucker. When his sleazy boss (Pickens) wants him to deliver illegal cigarettes and slot machines, Hummer refuses and becomes a target for a vicious campaign of intimidation. Director Kaplan—who had been churning out B-movie exploitation films like NIGHT CALL NURSES (1972) and THE STUDENT TEACHERS (1973)—actually delivers a hell-raising bare-knuckled story that pits a tough man against the odds. Vincent gives one his strongest and most convincing performances of his career. This original one sheet poster is folded and in very fine condition.

Original Set of 8 British Front of House Cards (8×10) for the Marlon Brando western drama, ONE-EYED JACKS (1961) starring Brando, Karl Malden, Katy Jurado, Ben Johnson, and Slim Pickens. A superb western, Brando and Malden give outstanding performances, as do the cast of supporting actors and actresses. This film was Brando’s only directorial credit, after Stanley Kubrick quit (or was fired from) the project. Kubrick promptly replaced Anthony Mann as the director of SPARTACUS (1960). This film began shooting in late 1958 and went months over schedule and millions over budget, being shot in the expensive VistaVision process. Brando reportedly shot hundreds of thousands of feet of film as he sought inspiration for both himself and his actors. Cinematographer Charles Lang received the film’s only Academy Award nomination for Best Color Cinematography. This set of original British front of house cards range from fine plus to very fine condition.

Original Warner Brothers One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Jerry Schatzberg music drama, HONEYSUCKLE ROSE (1980) starring Willie Nelson, Dyan Cannon, Amy Irving, and Slim Pickens. A country music lover’s movie, Nelson play Buck Bonham and Pickens plays Garland Ramsey—two country music stars that have been on the road for probably too many years. The basic message of the film is that it is very hard to hold a marriage together when one of the couple is on the road all the time. Indeed, the film received one Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song for Nelson’s “On the Road Again.” This original one sheet poster is folded and in very fine plus condition.

Original Warner Brothers One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Mel Brooks comic western, BLAZING SADDLES (1974) starring Cleavon Little, Gene Wilder, Slim Pickens, Harvey Korman, and Madeline Kahn. With cornball gags that just keep coming, this beloved spoof has kept audiences laughing since it was released. Certainly one of the crassest and crudest mainstream movies in history, it became the highest grossing “western” of all time. The plot was just an excuse to make fun of western myths, racism, and movie-making in general. Madeline Kahn’s portrayal of Lili Von Shtupp is a comic masterpiece and earned the actress a nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Originally folded, this original one sheet poster is in very fine condition.
