Director Annakin previously helmed the wildly popular THOSE MAGNIFICENT MEN IN THEIR FLYING MACHINES and attempted to recapture some of that film’s comedy, romance and adventure in this European road race comedy. The poster design is of a tweedy Brit driving a vintage car of the early 20th century. While directly representative of the film, the art has a modern, satirical take on the subject. This is a clumsy sequel to the very popular original film, BORN FREE (1966). After the death of lioness Elsa, the Adamsons must look after her orphaned cubs. When they start wreaking havoc on a nearby village, the Adamsons must move them hundreds away to a game preserve. This original one sheet poster is folded and in fine plus condition.

Original American International Pictures One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Sidney J. Furie musical comedy, SWINGERS’ PARADISE (1965) starring Cliff Richard, Walter Slezak, Susan Hampshire, and Melvyn Hayes. Originally released in the UK under the title WONDERFUL LIFE, this truly nonsensical musical comedy stars Richard and “The Shadows” and compares favorably with the Elvis and Frankie/Annette musical comedies of the day. The best thing about the film is the zippy pace and the surprisingly great dancing and choreography. This original one sheet poster is folded and in very fine condition. We love Cliff Richard, but he’s no DONOVAN!
