Original 20th Century Fox One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Albert and David Maysles rock concert documentary, GIMME SHELTER (1971) starring the Rolling Stones, the Jefferson Airplane, and the Flying Burrito Brothers. This film is a documentary of the 1969 Rolling Stones Tour, with much of the focus on the tragic concert at Altamont Speedway in December of 1969—only four months after the iconic Woodstock Festival. About 300,000 people came to the concert, and the organizers put the Hell’s Angels in charge of security, who spent most of their time beating up spectators and killing at least one. This original one sheet poster is folded and in near mint condition—with only one minor fold separation.

Heffron music documentary, FILLMORE (1972) starring promoter Bill Graham and some of the most popular rock groups of the day—including The Jefferson Airplane, Santana, Hot Tuna, Quicksilver Messenger Service, The Grateful Dead, It’s A Beautiful Day, and New Riders of the Purple Sage. Bill Graham was a very successful impresario and rock concert promoter. He operated the Fillmore West and Winterland (both in San Francisco) and Fillmore East in New York City. This film chronicles the last days of the Fillmore West which closed in 1971. Originally folded, this one sheet poster is in very good condition.
