Set in New Orleans in the 1930s, the Cincinnati Kid (McQueen) is a young stud poker player who goes from one big game to the next, until he is finally pitted against the legendary cardsharp Lancey Howard (Robinson). The final showdown at the hotel is probably the most tense and exciting poker game ever filmed. This original one sheet poster is in fair to good condition, with some tape and small holes. Original Paramount Pictures Insert Poster (14×36) for the Bill Persky cult comedy classic, SERIAL (1980)– starring Martin Mull, Tuesday Weld, and Jennifer McAllister. This is one of the most hilarious spoofs of the California lifestyles of the 1970s, particularly the evolving notion of “Politically Correct.” The film captures all the angst, sexual liberation, and self-help movement patter from the time. This original insert poster is in very fine condition.

Original Columbia Pictures One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Paul Wendkos teen drama, BECAUSE THEY’RE YOUNG (1960) starring Dick Clark, Victoria Shaw, Michael Callan, and Tuesday Weld. This film marked Clark’s big screen debut playing the high school teacher who cares “too much.” Based on the popular novel “Harrison High” by John Farris, the soundtrack includes songs by Duane Eddy, James Darren, and Bobby Rydell. Although James Darren sang the title song in the film, Duane Eddy released an all-instrumental version that went to number four on the charts and was the biggest hit of his career. Originally folded, this one sheet poster is in good condition with only two small tears in the bottom area.
