This film is the story of a complicated romance between a dancer on tour (Wright) and an upper class gentleman running for Parliament. This very nice scene lobby card with Sir Cedric Hardwicke, Melville Cooper, Ray Milland and Teresa Wright is in fine plus condition, with only slight bending damage to the corners.

Original RKO Insert Poster (14×36) for the Dorothy Arzner comedy, DANCE, GIRL, DANCE (1940) starring Maureen O’Hara, Louis Hayward, Lucille Ball, and Virginia Field. O’Hara is fabulous as a ballet dancer who has to lower her artistic standards to make a living. Ball is also wonderful in her “bad girl” role. Ball and O’Hara would become life-long friends as a result of making this film together. This is also one of the few Hollywood films of this era to be directed by a woman. You might not notice this fact until the end when O’Hara delivers what can only be described as a “feminist” speech. This original insert poster is folded and in fine plus condition, with only some minor fold distresses.

This is an original 20th Century-Fox One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Norman Foster mystery thriller, THINK FAST, MR. MOTO (1937) starring Peter Lorre, Virginia Field, Thomas Beck, and Sig Ruman. This was the first of eight films that Lorre—a Hungarian Jew fresh out of Hitler’s Germany– did for Fox in which he portrayed the Japanese detective Mr. Moto based on the novels of John Marquand. These eight films established Lorre as one of Hollywood’s most beloved personalities. This original one sheet poster is linen-backed and in fine plus condition with some restoration repairing minor tears and missing chips. There are minor stresses at the fold lines; otherwise, the poster presents beautifully.
