Two Original Columbia Pictures Scene Lobby Cards (11×14) for the Ishiro Honda science fiction thriller, THE H-MAN (1958) starring Kenji Sahara and Yumi Shirakawa. This film blends film noir with 1950s Japanese science fiction. When a narcotics suspect disappears, leaving only his clothes behind, a young scientist claims that H-bomb tests in the Pacific have created radioactive creatures—“H-Men” who ooze slime and dissolve anyone they touch. These two original scene cards are in good condition.

This is an original RKO Pictures Three Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Ishiro Honda monster classic, RODAN (1958)—starring Kenji Sahara and Yumi Shirakawa. This was the first of the Toho “Giant Monster” series in color and also boasted some of the best special effects for the time. Remembered as one of the best Japanese monster movies, the film chronicled the discovery of a horrifying giant flying reptile named Rodan. This original three sheet poster is in near mint condition. The poster has never been used and we show it here in two separate photographs to give an idea of the great condition of each panel. The three sheet poster is printed on two separate panels which are joined to create one poster. A

Original Yugoslavian Poster (20×28) for the Ishiro Honda sci-fi thriller, THE MYSTERIANS (1958)—starring Kenji Sahara, Yumi Shirakawa, and Momoko Kochi. This was one of the first Japanese films to be shot in anamorphic widescreen (TohoScope). The film tells the story of aliens who arrive on earth and pretend to be peaceful but are discovered to be responsible for a giant robot that is destroying cities. Japan’s Self-defense Forces gave assistance to this production and allowed the filming of military equipment and personnel. This original Yugoslavian poster is in very good condition.
