Original Warner Brothers One Sheet Poster (27×41) for Arthur Penn biographical masterpiece, BONNIE AND CLYDE (1967) starring Warren Beatty, Faye Dunaway, Gene Hackman, and Estelle Parsons. A bored girl and a small-time bank robber team up and leave a string of violent robberies and newspaper headlines that catch the imagination of depression era America. Instead of just portraying the two as psychopathic thrill killers, we are presented a pair of archetypal lovers just bored with their lives and out for some fun and some cash. The famous violent ending hastened the end of anachronistic Hayes code, and the film helped shape the 60′s image of the anti-hero. Nominated for 10 Academy Awards including Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director, and Best Picture—the film won the Oscar for Best Cinematography and Best Supporting Actress to Parsons. This original one sheet poster is in fine plus condition. Folds are in good shape and the poster shows modest signs of use. A perfect candidate for linen backing; ask us about restoration services.

The film was also nominated for three other Academy Awards, including Best Director for Penn and Best Screenplay for William Gibson.
