Original Warner Brothers One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Carl Reiner comedy, OH, GOD! (1977) starring John Denver, George Burns, Teri Gar, and Donald Pleasence. This warm and funny film explore the loving and practical relationship betweeen an everyday grocery clerk (Denver) and the supreme being (Burns). Reportedly, Director Reiner initially envisioned two old friends playing the main roles, Mel Brooks as God and Woody Allen as the grocery clerk. George Burns was such a hit in the role that he went on to make two more sequels playing the omnipotent one. This folded one sheet is in very fine plus condition.

This was popular comedian Steve Martin’s film debut playing a poor “black boy” raised in the South by a black family, only to discover one day that he is really white. Martin goes from rags to riches when he invents glasses that won’t slip off your nose, but he loses his fortune when it is medically proven that the glasses cause the wearer’s eyes to cross. This original presskit is in used but good condition. It contains 9 B&W studio action stills, which are in very fine condition. It also contains press releases for the full cast and crew, plot synopsis, production notes, biographies of director Reiner and producer David V. Picker, as well as biographies of all the major actors.
