This swashbuckler on a budget tells the story of Robert of Nottingham (Wilde), the son of Robin Hood, who goes to the aid of the Queen Mother (Esmond) and the beautiful Lady Catherine (Louise) who are fleeing the cruel William of Pembroke (Daniell), who has imprisoned the king. Though lacking Errol Flynn’s screen charisma, Wilde has superb skills as an archer, an equestrian, and a swordsman. This original and complete lobby card varies from fine plus to near mint.

Amateur sleuthing and the world of mom and pop radio programming at the time of radio’s zenith is the subject of this Republic Pictures mystery. This is a rare card. This original title card is in very good condition—with only creases, smudging, and edge wear in the borders.

Original Republic Pictures One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the George Sherman “singing” western, MEXICALI ROSE (1939) starring Gene Autry, Smiley Burnette, Noah Beery, and Luana Walters. The title is the hit song from Autry’s ROOTIN’ TOOTIN’ RHYTHM (1937), which was so popular that Republic decided to do an entire feature film based on the song. This film turned out to be one of Autry’s best performances with non-stop action and great singing. Besides the title song, Gene also croons two other popular crowd-pleasers—”El Rancho Grande” and perhaps his most memorable song, “You’re the Only Star in My Blue Heaven.” This original one sheet poster is linen-backed and in very fine condition.
