This enduring anthem to the power of ragtime was written by Irving Berlin and sung by Alice Faye. Although the image is slightly eclipsed, the original sheet music has not been trimmed in any way and is in very fine condition.

Original 20th Century-Fox Title Lobby Card (11×14) for the Henry King biography of steamboat inventor Robert Fulton, LITTLE OLD NEW YORK (1940) starring Alice Faye, Fred MacMurray, and Richard Greene. Studio mechanics built a replica of Fulton’s two-cycle engine and paddle wheel of the Clermont, following the notes in his diaries. The studio also built three huge sailing ships and 25 smaller boats for the production. This original title card is in very fine condition.

Gregory Peck played Good King David tempted by the red headed siren Susan Hayward in Henry Hathway’s Old Testament epic. Just before the era of CinemaScope, Twentieth Century Fox shot this film one year after MGM’s QUO VADIS? had made audiences hungry for sex, big scale and Technicolor. The widescreen would usher in THE EGYPTIAN, THE ROBE, LAND OF THE PHAROAHS. But this film had much going for it in terms of script, and took in $7,000,000 in box office receipts. The poster is in very good condition, folded, with a small chip out of the top border area.
