This is the re-release one sheet from 1973 for the 1970 film THE OWL AND THE PUSSYCAT. Very good condition for a theater-used poster. Folds intact; good color.

Original Paramount Pictures One Sheet poster from the Herbert Ross film FOOTLOOSE (1984). Without this film there may never have been the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon game. Herbert Ross directed this very (at the time) popular film about an irrepressible young boy who moves to a very square town. Hurrah for the Culture Wars! The film was remade in 2011. Kevin is shown on the poster – dancing with his Walkman. Needless to say Kevin Bacon went on to a very successful career. Poster is folded and in near mint condition.

Original Columbia Pictures 30 x 40 Poster for the Herbert Ross musical FUNNY LADY (1975) starring Barbra Streisand, James Caan, Omar Sharif, Roddy McDowell and Ben Vereen. This musical biopic continued to explore the life of 1930s-era comedienne/singer Fanny Brice after her divorce from gambler Nicky Arnstein (Omar Sharif) and her later involvement with impresario Billy Rose. FUNNY LADY was a glamorous big budget production that attempted to capitalize on Streisand’s success in the original FUNNY GIRL — a project she carried triumphantly from the Broadway stage to the Academy Awards. Teaming her with James Caan, then riding the stardom train after his mega success with THE GODFATHER and several other projects, seemed like a no brainer. The results were a mixed bag but entertaining nonetheless and with a solidly memorable score. The poster is in very fine, unfolded condition.

Original Columbia Pictures Style B One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Herbert Ross romantic comedy, CALIFORNIA SUITE (1978) starring Jane Fonda, Alan Alda, Maggie Smith, and Michael Caine. Based on an original Broadway production by Neil Simon that opened at the Eugene O’Neill Theater on June 10, 1976 and ran for 445 performances, the film is the combination of four different stories of guests in a hotel. All the performances are good, but Smith and Caine play the most memorable characters. Indeed, Smith won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress and Simon was nominated for Best Screenplay. With artwork by Drew Struzan, this original style B one sheet poster is folded and in fine conditions, with prominent fold lines and some additional crease.

Allan Felix (Allen), a neurotic San Francisco film critic has just broken up with his wife. Seeking solace in the classic movies he loves, particularly CASABLANCA, he begins to have conversations with the fantasy ghost of his idol Humphrey Bogart. With the encouragement of his married friends, he tries dating again with a series of disastrously funny blind dates, until he meets Linda (Keaton). This was the first pairing of Keaton and Allen, who went on to make seven more wonderful films together. This original one sheet poster is folded and in very good condition.
